We all know that Facebook is huge and a constant feature in many - if not most - of our students' lives. So how do we get in on the action if we can't be "friends" with them?

What is a Page?
A Page is a place where you can post information (status updates), photos, video and links for other people (students, parents, colleagues) to see, without having to be friends with you.
You can choose whether or not you want other people to be able to comment on things you post, to post messages on your wall or whether you want them to be able to message you through the page or not. Here is an example of a Page that I created - CHS Deutsch. |

What is a Group?
A Group is a place designed to encourage discussion and interaction between Group members. Groups can be 'open', meaning accessible to anyone, or 'closed' where only those accepted by Admin can join.
Groups allow people to upload and share files, ask questions, create events and share photos and links.
Here are two examples of Groups that I created - CHS Deutsch and National German Teacher's Conference 2014.
