What is Wikispaces?
Wikispaces Classroom is a free social writing platform, where students, teachers and colleagues can collaborate on group projects in real time.
Anyone who has been given access to the Wiki can edit and participate in discussions and there are many fantastic opportunities for rich project-based tasks, with group, individual and peer assessment a possibility.
You can keep track of student engagement in real time, focusing on specific students, projects or classes, as well as monitor student interaction.

Possible uses in the classroom
- Group projects - for example a trip to Germany task. They could work on the itinerary together there and use a Pinterest group board to pin location photos and a bibliography, which also includes a map.
- Resource lists (such as websites) that students can contribute to.
- FAQ lists - students can add their questions and other students can help answer them.
